Forkn’things is devoted to taking the old and making it new again. I am inspired to create pieces by repurposing and recycling items into something unconventional and beautiful. I have transformed antique cutlery into graceful jewelry and silver-plated tea services into wind chimes or Christmas ornaments. Recently, I have discovered the beauty in repurposing utility items and uncovering the delicate beauty underneath. Worn, rusted and scratched items, such as hand saws and discarded metals, are reshaped into trees and stars intended to adorn a garden or outdoor space in addition to interior decor. Breathing new life into items that were to be wasted and using a little ingenuity drives me to create new and distinctive pieces.
