Lantern Hill Farm is run by Tony Morrow and his wife Gena. They established their farm over 20 years ago at 1111 Bellamy Road, Pakenham.
Raising 11 children we had a large organic garden and raised our own meat to cut down the grocery bills and have good quality food for our kids. We then started canning to ensure we would always have good quality food.
After the children grew up and moved out we decided to bring our healthy products to the public. We started out in Carleton Place and later considered Carp, but in 2016 we filled out an application for the Almonte Farmers Market and were successful.
Tony was born and raised in Almonte, so he felt at home. The Morrow found the vendors so supportive and the atmosphere so friendly, so they decided to stay.
Lantern Hill Farm sells fresh vegetables from the garden, maple syrup, honey, preserves, brown eggs, sprouts, micro greens, fresh chicken and turkey.
