All of us from the Almonte Farmers’ Market would like to thank the community for your support in ensuring that the market remain a fixture in Almonte’s downtown!
Opening day this season is May 20th! PLEASE NOTE! This year you will find us along the Alameda on the OVRT, next to our usual spot in the Almonte library parking lot, from 8:30am to 12:30pm, Saturday mornings.
We are looking forward to trying out this new location, and hope that it offers a welcoming atmosphere with lots of seating, shade and room around the vendor’s tents!
We are welcoming some new vendors to the market family! Our handy little market offers hot breakfast and lunch, all kinds of baking, fresh, organically grown produce, organically raised pork beef and lamb plus Back 40 Sheep’s Cheese, fresh flowers, preserves, wood fired maple syrup and local honey. We have a wonderful array of locally made crafts plus products to care for body and soul. Bring your dull knives, tools and scissors down to get expertly sharpened while you shop!
And every 3rd Saturday of the month (including opening day!) is our famous basket draw.
We are looking forward to seeing all of our old friends and are very much looking forward to making some new ones! There is lots to offer at the Almonte Farmers’ Market so why not make shopping with us a part of your Saturday morning routine!?
