Rain or Shine, It’s the Last Market!…For now.

Parting is such sweet sorrow. This Thanksgiving weekend Saturday marks the last regular season market for another year – rain (likely) or shine we’ll be there! We have had a wonderful market season on the Alameda! We have heard all sorts of positive feedback about the location. Nothing is perfect, but the ambiance, shade and seating seem to have been very much enjoyed.

Thank you to all of our regular shoppers, part time shoppers and visitors for making it such a fruitful and fun season for all of us!

We will be holding our annual Harvest Market on November 18 and our annual Holiday Market on December 9, from 9am – 1pm! Both markets will be held in the Upper Hall of the John Levi Community Centre (aka the arena) in Almonte.

Stock up on organic produce, pasture raised beef, pork and lamb, local honey and maple syrup, Back 40 Sheep’s Cheese, wine, take home meals, preserves, baking and homemade candy….plus all sorts of gift ideas and household goodies including holiday decorations, pottery, woodworking, macramé, handmade jewelry…the list goes on! We have over 20 unique and smiley vendors attend these two markets, so you don’t want to miss them. Be sure to bring your knives and axes for sharpening while you shop!

Thanks again for such a great season. We’ll see you soon!
