Mountain Beauty is a natural soap maker that is farm made on Bellamy Mills Road in Almonte. The Finnish-Canadian maker creates the cold pressed soaps as vegan with plant based materials that are grown on the Mountain Beauty farm, harvested in the woods, or repurposed like coffee grounds or activated sauna charcoal. All other ingredients are sustainably sourced, organic and low impact means.
Mountain Beauty has a huge line of products that include soaps, body creams, beard oils, bath salts, bath bombs, lip balms, salves, & facial steamers. The body creams are made with maple sap and all of the Mountain Beauty products contain 100% pure Lanark County Maple Syrup. With only natural goodness, Mountain Beauty does not use artificial colours or fragrances, additives, mica, clays, or palm oil. No plastic is used in the packaging. The colours come naturally from the plants used in the soap. Enjoy your favorite scents like lavender or peppermint basil or try something new like catnip, pine resin or chaga mushroom. Full Moon soaps are also available, made specifically under each full moon. Always more coming as the lab is always in motion.
